Odd Job Squad links students with employers during summer (6/02)

The Odd Job Squad, a unique initiative created to help students find temporary work, provides employers another tool when scouting for temporary summer help.

The Odd Job Squad, a unique initiative created to help students find temporary work, provides employers another tool when scouting for temporary summer help. The Sudbury Human Resource Centre of Canada for Students (HRCC-S) links students seeking temporary summer employment with employers or homeowners seeking help.

Students can register with the Odd Job Squad at the HRCC-S Office for jobs lasting from a few hours to a few weeks.

Employers interested in hiring students for odd jobs such as lawn work, clerical duties and students looking for summer employment can contact the Sudbury HRCC-S at 705-670-6506.

Services are provided free of charge. The Human Resource Centre of Canada for Students is part of the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy.
