The Ministry of Labour (MOL) is investigating following a fatality at the Greater Sudbury Airport.
Unconfirmed reports suggest a person fell down a flight of stairs in the air traffic control tower.
Those details have not been verified.
However, Greater Sudbury Police did confirm they responded to a fatality at the airport at 11:35 a.m. on Jan. 25.
“There's nothing to suggest anything suspicious or criminal,” said Kaitlyn Dunn, media officer with Greater Sudbury Police Service.
Police, the Ministry of Labour and the Coroner's Office are investigating.
MOL spokesperson Janet Deline said the coroner’s office is conducting a post-mortem into the cause of death.
Citing privacy concerns, Deline declined to provide further details about the victim.
