Mining equipment and service firms will have an opportunity to acquire skills in implementing e-business solutions for their company through a full day e-commerce workshop designed for the mining industry.

MineE-com 2002, presented by the Canadian Association for Mining Equipment and Services for Export (CAMESE), Natural Resources Canada and Industry Canada, offers participants hands-on experience in the use of online e-business tools. Participants will also learn, first hand, from the experiences of many of Canada's leading e-business practitioners in the mining supply industry and will have the opportunity to hear a series of case studies. The cost of the workshop is $100 per person, lunch included, and takes place on May 24 at Laurentian University in Sudbury. For more information contact Christopher Morris at 613-957-9530.
