The eighth annual Influential Women of Northern Ontario (IW) awards gala will be held in Sault Ste. Marie at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn on May 30, and in Thunder Bay at the Fort William Historical Park on June 2.
Nominations are now being accepted in the following award categories: private sector, public sector, exporting and young entrepreneur.
Candidates for these prestigious awards are either entrepreneurs, up-and-coming leaders, or established leaders in senior positions within one of the four categories. Eight women (four from northeastern Ontario and four from northwestern Ontario) will be honoured. Award-winners will also be profiled in the annual IW feature publication, which will be distributed with the June edition of Northern Ontario Business.
