The Town of Parry Sound is committing $70,875 to complete the cleanup of the area around the future waterfront home of Parry Sound Place.
Having already earmarked $300,000 toward the remediation of the former Ultramar property to allow development of the waterfront complex, the Bay Street Road allowance must now be addressed. Town councillors accepted a proposal June 4 from Environmental Solutions Inc. to proceed with the cleanup on the municipally owned property.
