Highway four-laning progresses (4/02)

Four-laning work on a 26-kilometre stretch of Highway 69 from Rankin Lake Road in Parry Sound south to MacTier is progressing on schedule, and the new lanes are expected to be opened by fall 2003.

Four-laning work on a 26-kilometre stretch of Highway 69 from Rankin Lake Road in Parry Sound south to MacTier is progressing on schedule, and the new lanes are expected to be opened by fall 2003. A new four-kilometre section from south of the Jolly Roger to Rankin Lake Road should open this fall according to the Ministry of Transportation. Last Nov. 10 kilometres of new pavement officially opened from Mill Lake to just south of the Jolly Roger.
