The Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation (SACDC) bade adieu to some outgoing members of its board of directors and welcomed in some new folks.

Scott Lund and Richard Brummer finished up their terms to make way for Brent Battistelli and Paul Kusnierczyk.

Battistelli is president of Battistelli's Independent Grocer and previous chair of the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers from 2011 to 2013.

Kusnierczyk is a residential and commercial realtor at Royal LePage North Heritage Realty and active community volunteer with the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation board of directors and other groups.

“The SACDC is excited to welcome Brent and Paul to its Board of Directors," said chairman Bish Bora. “Both have extensive entrepreneurial backgrounds which will certainly be welcome experience to the current compliment of directors.”

Since the airport was transferred from Transport Canada to the local authority in 2000, a twelve-member board has overseen the affairs of the airport.
