Wasaya Ma Mow Ltd., a subsidiary of Wasaya Corp., received a funding boost of $151,400 from the Ministry of Indian Affairs to improve service in the North.
The funding will go towards the development of a float and ski-plane service in Northern Ontario to fill gaps in air carrier service to remote areas. The initiative is expected to generate eight new full-time positions.
