Sudbury-area lodges need up to 150 employees

A Sudbury-area lodge operator is looking to fill up to 150 seasonal job openings at two different lodges. 

Destination Killarney is now interviewing to fill a variety of positions including front desk, dockhands, cooks, bakers, banquet staff, bartenders, dishwashers, groundskeepers, laundry staff, janitors, maintenance staff, servers, hostesses, and housekeeping staff at Killarney Mountain Lodge and The Sportsman's Inn.  

Lodging and meals will be provided to employees for a nominal fee. 

On-property opportunities include positions at the Carousel Lounge & Deck, Killarney Lodge Main Dining Room, Great Room Patio Bar, Ranch House Restaurant at Canada House, The Anchorage Casual Dining, and Sporto's Bar & Grill.

Over the next five years, Destination Killarney is expecting sustained growth.  

“We are looking for quality individuals to be part of our team and our growing heritage of providing a first-class experience at the award-winning Killarney Mountain Lodge and Sportsman’s Inn. We expect this to be the largest compliment of staff in the resort’s history,” said general manager Kelly McAree in a Jan. 17 press release.

“We’d like our staff to experience an amazing summer, enjoying staff activities and events while working hard to provide our guests with exemplary service.”
