To mark one year of COVID-19’s arrival in Canada, Workplace Safety North is taking a look at how the pandemic has impacted the world of work.

On March 24 at 12 p.m., the organization will host a one-hour online discussion examining how the pandemic has shifted priorities and changed the way we work and the world in which we work.

It’s part of WSN’s ongoing Feed Your Brain lunch-and-learn series of webinars.

Health and safety specialists from three industries – education, mining, and not-for-profit – will talk about the lessons they learned adapting to the restrictions and fears surrounding the pandemic, as well as the key takeaways they will be bringing with them into the post-vaccination world.

Speakers include:

• Karen McKissick, the coordinator of safety for the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board;

• Don Langlois, the manager of workplace health and disability management at Vale; and

• Elisha Malette, a health and safety specialist with Workplace Safety North.

There is still time to register for the webinar, which will be offered free of charge.
