Drilling at West Timmins Mining Inc.'s fully-owned Thorne Property in Timmins has continued to yield sufficient positive gold results to expand the Golden River West Zone.
All seven holes completed throughout the current phase of the program have turned up gold mineralized intercepts which range from 13 metres to 45.1 metres. This includes one intercept at 37.5 metres grading 1.6 grams gold per tonne.
The program has also demonstrated the continuity of the High Grade Sub-Zone, which has now been traced from surface to a vertical depth of 350 metres.
These results follow on the heels of an announcement that West Timmins Mining has performed sufficient work to vest a 51 per cent interest in the Allerston Gold Property, now a joint venture with Explorers Alliance Corporation.
This property forms part of West Timmins Mining's 114-square-kilometre West Timmins Gold Project and is located five kilometres north of the company's Thunder Creek joint venture.
