Rogue Resources is planning to release a technical report on the mineral resource for its Snow White quartz project in the coming months.

The project, located near Massey, just over an hour west of Sudbury, is currently in the exploration stage. Rogue has been steadily putting the pieces in place to move the project closer to production.

On May 15, the company announced it had selected BA Ryan Trucking and Logging as its contract road trucker for the project, and Carmeuse Lime & Stone as the local dock for sea transport of quartz mined from the property.

“This is another step forward for Rogue as we continue to pull together the pieces of the puzzle for Snow White,” said Sean Samson, president and CEO of Rogue Resources, in a news release.

“We have spent significant time with both contractors and we appreciate their shared focus on safety, responsibility and efficiency.”

Additionally, the company has received approval from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) to harvest trees on the site.

The company said its previously announced 1,800-metre drill program, being conducted by Orbit Garant Drilling Services, is nearly at the halfway point. The technical report – compliant with National Instrument 43-101 standards – will be released following completion of the program.

A technical report filed earlier by the company summarized historic work completed on the site and described metallurgical and analytical test results on the project, but did not disclose a resource estimate.

Based in Toronto, Rogue Resources is not tied to any specific commodity, but says it “looks at rock value and good grade deposits that can withstand all stages of the commodity price cycle.”

In addition to Snow White, Rogue has in its portfolio the Silicon Ridge quartz project in Québec, the Radio Hill iron ore property south of Timmins, and the Langmuir nickel-copper-PGM property near South Porcupine.
