The New Boart Longyear sponsorship signage at North Bay Memorial Gardens was installed last week.
The agreement on the deal was approved by city council in January, as Boart Longyear, the North Bay Battalion and the City of North Bay signed a sponsorship agreement for $485,000 over five years.
The money will be divided evenly between the City and the Battalion.
"As announced in January, Boart Longyear has acquired the naming rights to the arena," the City of North Bay stated on social media, showing off the new sign on the north end of the building.
"With nearly 100 years in North Bay and close to 200 local employees, its support strengthens arena operations and highlights a deep local legacy."
Another large sign is located on the south end of the building as part of exclusive branding rights. City officials say signs above each gate and the box office were installed previously.
There will also be an in-ice logo at centre ice when the ice is reinstalled in August.

In a joint statement, Denis Despres, Boart Longyear’s CEO of drilling services, and Ermanno Simonutti, the CEO, said, “As a proud member of the North Bay community for almost 100 years, Boart Longyear is thrilled to become a visible part of the city skyline by naming the well-known arena. Our nearly 200 local employees look forward to joining other North Bay residents to enthusiastically support the Battalion and other events at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens.”
The company's local plant is located at 1111 Main St W., with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"This agreement represents an exciting partnership that helps support the arena’s operations and highlights Boart Longyear’s deep roots in our community and ongoing support for North Bay,” said Mayor Peter Chirico back in January.
