Redpath Mining is expanding thanks to the upswing in the mining industry. The firm said it's currently hiring 20 miners for jobs based in Northern Ontario.

“Redpath finds itself in a position to recruit for many opportunities for our local, provincial, domestic and international projects,” stated Laura Piche, Redpath's manager of global marketing, in an email to BayToday.ca on Aug. 2.

“Our recent outreach to hire 20 qualified miners will satisfy job requirements for several of our clients, including Red Lake, Kirkland Lake and other areas of Ontario.”

North Bay is home to Redpath’s global headquarters where 220 administrative and skilled trades personnel work and raise their families.
