Business organization hands out 10 awards during annual awards ceremony
The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce handed out its business awards on May 23.

The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce celebrated the city's business community on May 23, with its annual Bell Business Excellence Awards.

Businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs were recognized in 10 categories. Winners included:

  • Company of the Year: TULLOCH
  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Greg Smith, Smith’s Market
  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Matt Zawierzeniec, Skater's Edge Source For Sports
  • Executive of the Year: Jeff Smith, Manitoulin Transport
  • Business Startup: Neuro North 
  • Small Enterprise: L. May MFG 
  • Innovation Award: Reeledge Productions Inc
  • Best Place to Work: Sudbury Credit Union
  • Service Excellence: Lecoupe Ice
  • Non-profit/Charity Excellence: March of Dimes Canada

Tracing its roots to 1895, the Sudbury Chamber is a voluntary organization representing the business community that is dedicated toward improving the progress and prosperity of its members.
