This summer, Waubetek will host a five-week Youth Business Training Program at Laurentian University.

The program is open to Aboriginal youth between the ages of 20 and 29 who reside in the organization’s catchment area, which includes Sault Ste. Marie, the North Shore, Manitoulin, Sudbury, North Bay Temagami, the Highway 69 corridor, and Barrie.

Accommodations, meals and transportation, and support will be provided to eligible applicants. The program includes a five- to 26-week entrepreneurship placement with a business mentor and a $3,000 grant to help start a business, in addition to support from Waubetek.

Application forms are available at www.waubetek.com. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 30.
