Workplace safety training continues to roll through the North

The Industrial Accident Prevention Association has mapped out several training sessions scattered across Northern Ontario throughout March 2009.

The Industrial Accident Prevention Association has mapped out several training sessions scattered across Northern Ontario throughout March 2009.
This includes a two-day generic certification program to be held in Timmins on March 10-11, covering a broad range of topics such as workplace health and safety as well as accident investigations.
On March 24, a pair of Sudbury sessions are being planned, with half a day set aside for outlining supervisors' responsibilities and due diligence. In the afternoon, attendees will learn about proactive strategies for compliance.
A series of complimentary knowledge exchange meetings are also planned. The hour-and-a-half sessions will revolve around electrical safety and will take place in North Bay on March 17, Sudbury on March 19, and Timmins on March 31.
