The Sudbury-focused junior Wallbridge Mining Company Limited (TSX: WM) has named industry veterans Parviz Farsangi and Roland Horst to its board of directors.
Farsangi, an experienced engineer, served as executive vice-president and chief operating officer for Vale Inco until June 2009. He also spent 15 years with Falconbridge Ltd. before becoming general manager of its Sudbury Mines/Mill Business Unit in 2002.
Horst most recently served as president and CEO of Royal Nickel Corporation, a dual role he also held at International Nickel Ventures Corporation. He has also been vice-president of business development for FNX Mining and CEO of Aeroquest Limited.
Wallbridge also recently wrapped up a private placement financing, raising aggregate proceeds of $965,000.
