Timmins chamber calling on help for province’s deficit reduction

The Timmins Chamber of Commerce is hosting a roundtable to call on business members to provide tangible recommendations to reduce the deficit and protect the significant tax measures announced last year for business.

The Timmins Chamber of Commerce is hosting a roundtable to call on business members to provide tangible recommendations to reduce the deficit and protect the significant tax measures announced last year for business.

The meeting is part of government’s province-wide initiative to gather ideas to cope with the record $24.7 billion deficit. The roundtable will take place Nov. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m at the Timmins Chamber of Commerce. To participate, confirm by sending an email to hchertow@timminschamber.on.ca.
