Russel announced June 26 it had signed a letter of intent to sell the bulk handling facility on McKellar Island. The deal is worth $40-million (Cdn). The terminal transfers coal, potash and farm products from rail car to freighter. It also services the Ontario Power Generation plant on Mission Island and ships to other fossil-fueled stations around the Great Lakes.
