Temex Resources reports high grade intersects of gold on a Timmins gold project.
The Toronto miner said all their deep drill holes near the former Hallnor Mine in Whitney township all show visible signs of gold.
The property is owned by Porcupine Gold Mines, a joint venture between Goldcorp Inc. and Goldcorp Canada. Temex has the option to earn a 60 per cent interest and expects to complete a $4 million investment commitment by May.
The property occurs within a four-kilometre long, 10-plus million ounce trend that includes the former Broulan Reef and Hallnor Mines. The Hallnor was once one of the highest grade gold mines producing more than 1.65 million ounces of gold at an average grade of 0.40 ounces per ton (or 13.71 grams per tonne).
The company said all holes drilled have intersected visible gold on its 19 Vein including 21.10 grams per tonne gold over 6.55 metres and 21.02 grams per tonne over 2.30 metres.
