Temex Resources reports significant gold grades on their deep exploration project in Timmins.
The Toronto miner is working its Whitney Township property near the former Hallnor Mine and posted results from its drill program on its 19 Vein structure.
One hole intersected 21.10 grams per tonne gold (g/t) over 6.55 metres, including 270.62 g/t over 0.50 metres.
The property is owned by Porcupine Gold Mines, a joint venture between Goldcorp Canada and Temex which has an option to earn a 60 per cent interest.
The company said the deep drill program continues to intersect strong quartz veining and mineralization along the project strike extent of the former mine horizon. Visible gold has been noted in every drill hole to date.
The property is located in the centre of a four-kilometre, 10 million-plus ounce gold mine trend, which includes the former Hallnor Mine, considered one of the highest grade gold mines in the Timmins camp.
