Ground geophysics surveys on the Freewest Resource (TSX:FWR) Big Daddy Chromite deposit in the James Bay Lowlands revealed a 1.1 kilometre strike length.
Early 2009 initial earn-in on the 1,248 hectare property by Spider Resources Inc. (TSX:SPQ), KWG Resources Inc. (TSX:KWG)combined own 50 per cent of the property, and Freewest which owns the other 50 per cent, the completion of gravimetric and magnetic ground surveys discovered expanded resources compared to the 400 metres survey done between 2006 and 2008, Freewest announced on April 23.
The partners are now beginning to plan the drilling program for 2009/10 season, and the National Instrument 43-101 report is filed on Sedar.
The partners joint Technical Advisory Committee discussed a drilling plan where holes are proposed along the expanded strike length towards the northeast at an initial spacing of 200 metres, followed by infill as need to 100 metres density or what drill space density is required.
The planning is underway and final approval is forthcoming, Freewest stated in a press release.
