The many developments in science and technology within the City of Greater Sudbury will be viewed through a national prism come May 2009, when the Canadian Science Writers' Association is set to arrive.
The group's 38th annual conference and general meeting will bring to Sudbury many of the association's 450 members, which include policy makers, scientists, journalists, students, communication officers and educators.
The event, held in a different city every year, will also include public forums and educational workshops. It is being hosted by Science North in collaboration with Laurentian University and the Living with Lakes Centre, alongside support from the City.
