If Imagine Sudbury, a group of community-minded volunteers has its way, Sudbury's downtown rail yards would be redeveloped as a Bruce Mau "Center for Massive Change" by as early as 2010.
Working alongside the Sudbury native and internationally acclaimed designer / author, Imagine Sudbury wants to bring the concept of purpose-driven entrepreneurial learning to Sudbury, making it the first Canadian city to do so.
Bruce Mau Design is already developing similar Centers for Massive Change in Chicago, Denver, and other major United States cities, as well as in India.
The group may bring Mau, who has worked with such clients as Dell, MTV and Nokia, to Sudbury in the near future to further discuss the project.
