With the promise of summer comes an infusion of new blood for the board of directors at the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, which recently held elections for its 2009/10 fiscal year.
Six new directors are being brought to the table for a two-year term on the board, including Cambrian College's Sylvia Barnard, Bestech's André Dumais, Scotiabank's Steve Irwin, and the United Way/Centraide's Michael Cullen.
Also newly added to the board are the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation's Helen Mulc, and Conroy Trebb Scott Hurtubise's Patricia Sullivan.
They join the remaining eight directors who are completing the second year of their two-year term, and will meet in June to select two additional directors to bring the board total to 17.
