The Business and Professional Women of Greater Sudbury is hosting an International Night on Feb. 17 to help recognize the collective goals of working women around the world.
To be held at the Radisson Hotel, the event will feature a candle-lighting ceremony, networking opportunities as well as a special keynote speaker.
Having just returned from a tour of duty in Kandahar as a medic, Corporal Cheryl Belanger will relate her experiences.
As RSVPs are required by Feb. 12, interested parties are encouraged to call the association's acting president Rachel Proulx at 705-524-3648. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will required a $5 registration fee.
