Short course on ventilation, heat management to hit Sudbury

Sudbury's MIRARCO, Laurentian University and Natural Resources Canada are teaming up to host a mining short course on managing heat and underground ventilation from Feb. 9-13.
The five-day course will be taught by Dr. Roy Moreby of the University of New South Wales and will be attended by mining professionals from across Ontario, Canada and the United States.
Course material will cover a broad range of topics, ranging from sources of heat in mines to project economics to ventilation theory and practice.
