About 50 science exhibits designed by Sudbury's Science North Enterprises were shipped overseas in late March destined for a new science centre in Glasgow, Scotland. The exhibits, sold to the Glasgow Science Centre, fulfil the terms of a $340,000 (Cdn) contract to design and manufacture unique learning experiences for the facility's ribbon-cutting in June. Science North Enterprises, which is an independent business division of Science North, markets their expertise in exhibit design and production, 3-D film and multimedia theatre production to clients all over the world. The net revenues from this deal are earmarked for reinvestment back into Science North.
