Another temporary shutdown at Tenaris Tubes is putting 57 employees on indefinite layoff. The Sault Ste. Marie seamless tube maker, which employs more than 330 workers, is shutting down for six weeks effective March 20.

The Sault Ste. Marie seamless tube maker, which employs more than 330 workers, is shutting down for six weeks effective March 20. The company blames weakening demand in the pipe markets. It's the third shutdown in as many months. The recall should begin in May.
