Sault post-secondaries receive operating grants

Sault College and Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie are receiving more than $600,000 in operating grants.

Sault MPP David Orazietti made the announcement May 14 as part of the government's province-wide $150 million investment into colleges and universities.
Sault College receives $424,637, while Algoma University will receive $191,958.
In a statement, Orazietti said the funding “will help ensure that our local post-secondary students have access to modern technology and academic resources they need to become the future economic drivers of Sault Ste. Marie's economy.”
