SAMSSA to seek economic solutions at upcoming AGM

With slipping commodity prices standing to impact its more than 90 members, the Sudbury Area Mining Supply and Service Association (SAMSSA) is seeking to brainstorm for some potential solutions during its upcoming annual general meeting.

 With slipping commodity prices standing to impact its more than 90 members, the Sudbury Area Mining Supply and Service Association (SAMSSA) is seeking to brainstorm for some potential solutions during its upcoming annual general meeting.

To be held on Nov. 26 at the Howard Johnson Hotel, the event will find members contributing their insights and suggestions regarding the economic slowdown at a special session.

The event will also feature the new, as-yet-unannounced inductees into the SAMSSA Hall of Fame, as well as a speech from Kevin Constante, the new deputy minister for the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines.
