A new mineral resource estimate has emerged for Queenston Mining Inc.'s Kirkland Lake-area Upper Beaver gold-copper property.
The total indicated mineral resource sits at 1,373,500 tonnes at a capped grade of 8.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, or 375,000 ounces of gold, with 0.43 per cent copper.
The inferred mineral resource is 1,061,300 tonnes at a capped grade of 7.7 g/t, or 262,800 ounces of gold, with 0.39 per cent copper.
This marks the second industry-compliant mineral resource estimate Queenston has announced for its Kirkland Lake properties in 2008, following new resources on its South Claims JV earlier this year.
Exploration work is ongoing at the company's nearby McBean deposit to bring historic resources to industry-compliant standards. These include measured and indicated resources of 835,000 tonnes grading 5.1 g/t gold, as well as an inferred resource of 1,835,200 tonnes grading 6.5 g/t gold.
