Nearly 12,000 metres of definition drilling at Queenston Mining Inc.'s McBean property in Kirkland Lake have turned up golden results.
Highlights of the 25-hole program include 10.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 13.6 metres, as well as 7.4 g/t gold over 15.9 metres.
The goal of this program is to advance mineral resources at McBean to industry-compliant standards and to expand the deposit.
Two rigs have begun to turn at the McBean site as part of a second phase of drilling. This 15,000-metre program will work to test the gold system at depth and to target the new trends of gold mineralization identified in the first program.
Another drill continues to explore mineralization at the company's Upper Beaver property, and a fourth drill is operating on the full-owned Amalgamted Kirkland property, targeting the down-dip projection of the South Mine Complex.
