The City of Dryden is hosting a disaster preparedness conference this spring.
The first-ever event, called the Northwest Response Forum, is to create communities partnership across the region in addressing disaster management issues.
The event's objective is to provide training, introduce services and develop better coordination among municipalities to work together when disaster strikes.
The City is partnering with the Canadian Red Cross and the Ministry of Natural Resources to stage this conference scheduled for April 20-24 at the Dryden Recreation Complex.
