Thunder Bay's Premier Gold is beginning a large drill program this month to prove up a large gold reserve in Geraldton.
The company will drill more than 50,000 metres this year at its Hardrock Project leading to a proven an Ni-43-101 bankable resource. Two core drills will be testing their EP and Oreo Zones.
Premier said their EP Zone is a near-surface, potential high-grade open pit mine. The zone is near a former mine from which 2.97 million tonnes of ore was mined at a grade of 7.54 grams per tonne.
The Hardrock Project is operated under a joint venture with Roxmark Mines, with Premier earning a 70 per cent interest.
