Members of the Sudbury Area Mining Supply and Service Association (SAMSSA) will soon have the opportunity to put their pitch to procurement executives from the Saskatoon-based PotashCorp.

On August 20, three PotashCorp representatives will swing into Sudbury's Howard Johnson Hotel from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to present industry growth plans, new projects, and required services at a SAMSSA-only event.

Included in the trio are Clark Bailey, vice-president of technical services, who is responsible for potash expansion projects in New Brunswick and Saskatchewan valued at $6.4 billion.

Also in attendance will be PotashCorp's manager of corporate procurement, Ralph Sanders and Cathy Mahoney, manager of contracts administration and procurement for AMEC Americas plc, which oversees expansion projects on behalf of PotashCorp.

Interested SAMSSA members may register up to three representatives by August 18 by fax at 705-522-0824 or email at destefan@isys.ca. There is no charge for the event.
