Ongoing enrolment increases over the last few years have decreased classroom capacity, and the small post-secondary school is searching for funds to build a high-tech centre to be used to deliver a distance-education masters degree in computer game development. The college is approaching the heritage corporation and FedNor for funding for the proposed 24,000-square-foot building. The building would house research labs, an auditorium and classrooms. The school is prepared to proceed with construction without full funding, for a completion date of spring 2003.
