This year, the train will operate every day except Saturday until Aug. 28. New this year, The Discovery Channel has produced a comprehensive audio tour of the train.
After travelling 300 kilometres, visitors will arrive Moosonee, the only salt-water port in Ontario and established by the Révillon Frères Company of Paris in 1903. Across the river is the island of Moose Factory – the oldest English-speaking settlement in Ontario and the birthplace of the famed Hudson's Bay Company.
