Northern Ontario's women leaders honoured

Some of the most dedicated women leaders in the North were highlighted at the 13th Annual Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards 2010, held at Sault Ste. Marie's Algoma's Water Tower Inn on June 1 and Thunder Bay's Victoria Inn on June 3.
Some of the most dedicated women leaders in the North were highlighted at the 13th Annual Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards 2010, held at Sault Ste. Marie's Algoma's Water Tower Inn on June 1 and Thunder Bay's Victoria Inn on June 3.

Hosted by Northern Ontario Business, these luncheon events shone a light on three winners from both the northeast and northwestern parts of the province. 

Also featuring a tradeshow, the event drew attention to private and public sector figures, as well as a young entrepreneur from each region.  An "aspiring achiever" essay scholarship winner was also announced, who is highlighted below with the other winners:
