Northern festivals make the grade

A half-dozen Northern Ontario festivals have made the top 100 list of Festivals and Events in Ontario. According to Festivals and Events Ontario, festivals included on the list “represent festivals and events that excel within the industry.

A half-dozen Northern Ontario festivals have made the top 100 list of Festivals and Events in Ontario.

According to Festivals and Events Ontario, festivals included on the list “represent festivals and events that excel within the industry.”

Northern festivals on the list include the 30th Annual Sioux Lookout Blueberry Festival, Bon Soo Winter Carnival in Sault Ste. Marie, Jazz Sudbury Festival, Kapuskasing Annual Lumberjack Heritage Festival, Mattawa Voyageur Days and The Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival in Timmins.

Festivals and Events Ontario is a non-profit tourism association devoted to the growth of the festivals and events industry in Ontario.
