The numbers are in for Northern College's 2010 fall enrolment, showing a 13 per cent growth over last year.

This marks another banner year for the Timmins-based institution, which saw a 47 per cent increase in enrolment in 2009.

The strongest areas of growth for the school are in trades, technology and health sciences.

This rise has required the additional hiring at each of Northern's four campuses – Timmins, Moosonee, Kirkland Lake, and Haileybury – to work a new First Year Experience Services Office. This new office is designed to promote student retention and assist with student success.
