Normet Canada Ltd. appoints new general manager

Steve Archer has been appointed to the position of general manager of Normet Canada Ltd., according to a Nov. 22, 2010 company press release. Normet Canada opened its head office in Sudbury in the spring of 2010.

Steve Archer has been appointed to the position of general manager of Normet Canada Ltd., according to a Nov. 22, 2010 company press release.

Normet Canada opened its head office in Sudbury in the spring of 2010. This Finland-based company develops, manufactures and markets equipment and vehicles for mining and underground construction.

Archer brings to the team a diploma in mining engineering technology and a bachelor of science in organizational management. He has almost 30 years of experience working for mining supply companies in which he has held managerial positions in Canada for Rock Drilling Tools and Construction Tools. Other experience comes from Atlas-Copco and Cubex Ltd.
