North Bay's Nipissing University opened the doors to its new Muskoka campus in Bracebridge, Oct. 25.
The two new-story building has space for 675 students, and includes a 100-seat lecture hall, ten classrooms, learning commons, fine arts room and science lab.
Construction of the $6.6 million facility began last fall. Students moved into the 26,000-square-foot building last month.
The university continues to get good grades as a top-notch school. In the Globe and Mail's annual survey of undergrad students for its Canadian University Report, it was only school to garner an A+ for Student-Faculty interaction. Nip U also scored well for its student residences, class sizes and in the most satisfied students categories.
