MPH Ventures is preparing to take a bulk sample at its Pidgeon Molybdenum deposit in northwestern Ontario.
A detailed channel sampling program is underway at the east end of Lateral Lake in Echo Township, in an area that's been stripped and cleared to exposed bedrock.
The Vancouver junior miner plans to remove a bulk sample to obtain a better estimate of the grade of the molybdenum deposit. Wardrop Engineering will advise on the size and methodology of the bulk sampling program.
Last month, MPH announced it has completed a 31-hole drill program in a second phase of exploration. The goal is to achieve 20 million tonnes with an average grade of 0.10 per cent of molybdenum of a drilled indicated resource. The company believes it has surpassed goal.
