Applications are being accepted for the spring session of the Strategic One-on-One Export Marketing Assistance Program for mining supply and services companies in Northern Ontario.
The program, an initiative of Ontario's North Economic Development Corp. (ONEDC) and the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, is designed to increase the global reach for innovative products and services of Northern mining service and supply companies.
Participants in the program will produce a written export marketing and strategic plan, gain insight into the potential of the world mining market and learn how they can increase their sales. A series of workshops will help enhance participants' marketing and sales capabilities.
The program is part of the Mining Supply and Services Export Assistance program, which includes the Export Marketing Assistance Program (EMA), through which mining supply and services companies can seek funding up to $10,000 to help with the cost of developing new international and domestic markets outside Northern Ontario.
