Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters president Jayson Myers will discuss the future of Ontario manufacturing in a video-streamed presentation March 27 in Sudbury.
Myers will give long term recommendations for competitiveness, due to the shift in targeted export markets. He will provide an assessment on aerospace, automotive and the construction/building products sectors, while offering export development strategies.
The event, hosted by Ministry of International Trade and Investment, takes place from 10:30 a.m. to noon in boardroom C-11 at Tom Davies Square.
Myers is an economist and is also chairman of the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition, a coalition of more than 43 industry associations that have come together to speak as a common voice.
