Long-time Sudbury-area entrepreneurs honored by their peers

The Sudbury Area Mining Supply and Service Association (SAMSSA)'s Hall of Fame grew by two during its 2008 annual general meeting on Nov. 26.
The event saw the induction of Don Rastall, founder of the Rastall Corporation, and Robert Lipic, president and CEO of Mining Technologies International.
"It's very prestigious because these Hall of Fame nominees are not done by committee," says Jeff Fuller, SAMSSA president.
"They're chosen by the members here, so it's a selection by your peers, which makes it all that much more special."
This marks the second year of inaugurations for SAMSSA's Hall of Fame, with last year seeing the induction of Fred Castron of Cast Resources as well as Conrad Houle of Tracks and Wheels.
