Entrepreneurs looking to prepare themselves for outside investment will have their day or two Oct. 21 in Sault Ste. Marie and Oct. 23 in Sudbury with full-day events hosted by the Northern Ontario Enterprise Gateway.
Known as "Becoming an Investor-Ready Entrepreneur", the two full-day events will feature investors and entrepreneurs from Canada and the United States. In turn, attendees will see whether angel investment is right for their business, and what can be done to properly prepare them for that level of involvement.
Keynote speakers include Ron Thompson, founder and CEO of CAIL, and Shannon Bisset, a former Sudburian who has gone on to become founder and CEO of Cubeit Portable Storage.
Both events cost $100, and run from roughly 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost includes the full-day event as well as lunch and networking opportunities. For more information, visit www.noeg.ca.
