Holmer Gold Mines Ltd. expects to commence drilling on its Bristol Township property this March in anticipation of moving forward with plans to begin an open pit-underground gold mine. The firm believes there are 2.14 million tonnes of high-grade gold on its site on the west side of the Mattagami River within the City of Timmins. Preliminary exploration is expected to be finished by summer before a feasibility study begins this summer. Based on the study findings, optimistic company officials expect to make a decision on whether to advance the project by year's end.
